This book provides a barometer to the news and value judgment of Nigerian editors as gleaned from their deliberations at four Annual Conferences between 2009 and 2012 organised by the Nigerian Guild of Editors. The themes range from examining the challenges of specific requirements of Vision 2020 to Nigeria’s economic growth, to the broad imperative of deepening democracy, to the urgent need to address the curse and blessings of oil to Nigeria’s political economy and finally to the contentious issue of national security.
